Now, just so you know, part of my character development process (for anything I write, though most never see the light of day) is writing what they look like, act like, and mean to me, sometimes I'll have entire pages on one character! Then I'll search google trying my best to find pictures of models, paintings or any kind of image that resembles the characters even remotely just to add more life to them in my mind (this is what I have to resort to since I can't draw very well, although I've tried....I've seriously tried so hard, you're actually going to see one, I'm so sorry). Sometimes I'll have a collage of images just for one character, each image representing a characteristic that I felt best matched what I had in mind.
I DO NOT OWN THESE PICTURES!!...okay technically I own one of them...but it's such a bad picture that I really don't want credit for it...but I figured you could the basic idea of the character based on the drawing...and hey, if you can draw feel free to make a better version! Let me know and I'll swap it out so fast that you might wonder if my drawing even existed!
At this point, I've had the pictures for so long that I'm not sure I can find them again on google, but I'll look for the links and add the ones I can find later (I never thought I'd ever actually publish something online so didn't bother saving any info on the pics)

I couldn't believe my luck when I came across this picture, it was perfect with one exception! In my mind his ears aren't quite so cutesy, they are much narrower and pointed and they start a little lower but are just as tall. That's it :) isn't he handsome? BTW the wolves and werewolf have nothing to do with the story, but they're pretty cool eh?

Alright here's the one I drew cause I couldn't find anything that remotely resembled her, for me this is very good artwork, but I know that this is nothing compared to real artists drawings....so please....have pity for these hands that cannot share what they want to. I sincerely apologize for offending any artists out there with this attempt at art, I swear it looks slightly better in real life.... But I'll just stick to doodling now.....like I said before feel free to draw a better version if you so desire.

Once again I couldn't believe my luck when I came across another picture that seemed to read my mind! Fun fact though, I actually added something to her character because of this picture, and that was.......THE FANS! I was researching different weapons for a long time trying to decide what (or if) I wanted this new spirit to wield, but when I saw the picture I realized how perfect the fans were for her! At first my mind's eye saw her wearing more traditional clothing (maybe a nice kimono) but I liked this idea much better. Anyways isn't she gorgeous!?

Alrighty last one for this post :) This is Solomon. I know you don't know much about him yet, but I figure his looks aren't some huge reveal. This one actually fit perfectly. Spot on, no needed changes. So this is the official face of evil in Keys of Perdition. You're welcome for wasting your time today ;) P.S. I really hope you appreciate this post because it took me forever to find a way to get these pictures up here since the copy and paste option wasn't working from my google docs over to blogspot! and I couldn't remember where I'd gotten them on Google....speaking of which, if you know where these pictures come from please let me know! I'd love love love to give the artists the credit they are obviously due!
